1. Who we are
MockRx ("we", "us") provides an online mock-test platform for FMGE, NExT, NEET-PG and INI-CET aspirants. We are the data controller of personal data you provide while using the service.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, hashed password, optional avatar.
- Usage data: tests created, attempts, answers, scores and timing.
- Device data: browser, IP, approximate location, used to prevent abuse.
- Optional Google profile data if you sign in with Google.
3. How we use it
To create your account, deliver the service, generate analytics and personalised insights, send transactional emails (verification, password reset), and prevent abuse via captcha and rate limits.
4. Legal bases (GDPR)
Performance of contract (delivering the service), legitimate interest (security, analytics), consent (cookies, marketing emails) and legal obligation (tax/records where applicable).
5. Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share with sub-processors that help operate MockRx: hosting, database, email delivery, captcha verification (Cloudflare Turnstile), and Google for OAuth sign-in.
6. Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active and for 12 months after deletion to handle disputes and legal obligations, then permanently deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
You may access, rectify, export, restrict, or delete your data, or object to processing, by emailing privacy@mockrx.com. EU/UK users may complain to their local data protection authority. See also our GDPR guide.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted via role-based controls. We perform regular vulnerability scans.
9. Children
MockRx is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
